National Jet Company specializes in micro tools with cutting diameters ranging from as small as .0005’’ (12.5µ) up to 2mm and every .0001’’ increment in between.
Tools are offered in Micro grain Carbide or High-Speed Steel Cobalt and can be made on the following shank diameters: .040”, 1mm, .0625”, .090”, 3mm, .125”. Tooling larger than .001’’Ø is typically made with a flute length that is 7 times the diameter of the drill. In some instances, tooling with longer length to diameter ratios can be offered.
